Frequently asked questions
What is Figity Bits?
Figity Bits is a curated haven for sensory-seeking adults and "internal thinkers." We specialize in hand-crafted and 3D-printed tactile tools—which we affectionately call "bits"—designed to provide grounding, focus, and neurodivergent bliss.
Our brand is built on the "Internal Bloom" philosophy. Much like the inverted flower of a fig, we believe that true beauty and growth often happen quietly on the inside. Whether it’s a Fig Bud or a textured desk companion, our products are engineered to help you bloom right where you are.
Every item is a blend of modern technology and artisanal soul, often featuring 3D-printed structures from the Figity Lab finished with hand-felted textures and weighted cores for a premium sensory experience.
Do you take special orders?
Absolutely! We believe every internal bloom is unique and should reflect its owner’s specific sensory needs.
If you simply want to swap the vessel for your Fig Bud or choose a different hue for a 3D print, there is no additional charge. Just add a note to the "Special Requests" field on the product page, and we will do our best to cultivate exactly what you’re looking for.
For larger engineering projects or completely custom creations from the Figity Lab, the best path is to contact us directly. We’ll work with you to plan the tactile details and provide a custom timeline for your specialized "bit."
Are your sensory tools safe for children?
In short: No. Figity Bits are engineered exclusively for adults and internal thinkers aged 14 and up. While our "bits" are designed for tactile bliss and grounding, they are not toys. Because they are handcrafted and produced in the Figity Lab using 3D-printing technology, they have specific characteristics that make them unsuitable for children:
Fragility & Splintering: 3D-printed materials are unique and artisanal; they can be fragile and may splinter or snap if dropped or handled with the exuberant energy of a young child.
Choking Hazards: Many of our creations, including our Fig Buds, contain small components or articulated joints that pose a significant choking hazard.
Intentional Design: Our tools are curated for adult sensory needs and quiet focus, not for the rough-and-tumble environment of a playroom or as bulk party favors for young children.
To ensure everyone’s safety and "Internal Bloom," please keep all Figity Bits products out of reach of children and pets.
What is your refund policy?
Because every "bit" is uniquely engineered in the Figity Lab and often finished by hand, all sales are final. Our products are small-batch and artisanal; once a sensory tool has been cultivated and shipped to its new home, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. We encourage you to review product descriptions and tactile details carefully before completing your harvest.
The Exception: The only instance in which a refund will be issued is if the Figity Lab is unable to fulfill your order (for example, due to an unexpected material shortage or a technical issue with a specialized 3D print). In these rare cases, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
If we made a mistake—such as a shipping error or a significant manufacturing defect—please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can correct the issue for you.
What do the "Unique" and "Limited" labels mean?
Because the Figity Lab balances precision 3D engineering with hand-felted artistry, our availability varies. We use two specific labels to help you understand the rarity of a "bit":
Unique (A Singular Specimen): When an item is marked "Unique," it is a true one-of-a-kind creation. This specific combination of color, texture, and style is a singular event in our lab. Once this specimen is harvested and finds a home, it will not be replicated. If you feel a connection to a "Unique" bit, we recommend securing it quickly.
Limited (A Small Batch Harvest): Items marked "Limited" are produced in very small quantities. This might be due to a specific spool of artisan filament or a particular batch of wool. While we may have a few in stock now, these items may or may not return to the shop in the future.
Crafted for sensory seekers.
All original content, including the "Internal Bloom" philosophy, the "Inverted Flower" metaphor, and our unique character stories, is the protected intellectual property of Figity Bits LLC. Our signature Fig Buds—including but not limited to Bobby Button, Marty Morel, Cherrie Chantarelle, Tommy Toadstool, and Penelope Pinkgill—and their specific alliterative identities are proprietary marks of Figity Bits. Unauthorized reproduction or "story-snatching" is strictly prohibited.
Figity Bits is a registered brand identity pronounced with a Hard ‘G’ (like Fig). We engineer sensory bliss with a firm phonetic anchor.
While the souls, weighted cores, and fiber finishes are engineered in the Figity Lab, several of our prints are produced under a professional commercial license from the designers at Blob Lab. We believe in honoring the broader maker community while building our own unique "Internal Bloom" ecosystem.
Our items are hand-crafted sensory tools designed for neurodivergent bliss for ages 14+. While they provide tactile comfort and "secret-keeping" utility, they are not medical devices. Small parts (like our steel BB weighted cores) are securely sealed but may pose a choking hazard; not intended for children. Please use with mindful care.
Proudly engineered in Dallas, Texas. We ship within the United States only via a flat-rate standard. Due to the "Slow Made," artisanal nature of our products, colors and materials may vary slightly and 3D prints are inherently fragile. All sales are final.
